Company History

InnovaTech’s history reveals over a decade of customer service and satisfaction.

Prior to the incorporation of InnovaTech, our professional staff worked as a team at Veridian’s Data Warehouse Department, where Neal Levene, InnovaTech’s CEO, managed a $10 million data warehousing practice.

As a result of an acquisition by General Dynamics, creating a possible conflict of interest, Veridian was required to divest itself of one of the department’s largest projects: The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Due to high customer satisfaction since our work began in 1996, the USPTO requested that Veridian release Neal Levene and his project team along with the contract. Therefore, customer satisfaction was directly responsible for the incorporation of InnovaTech.

Full transition of the USPTO EDW contract, the project team, and all technical intellectual property to InnovaTech was completed in May 2003. This transition was seamless to the customer.

Since that time, InnovaTech has added customers and continually improved its methodologies, practices, and capabilities.

In 2009, InnovaTech acquired Vivakos, Inc., an systems integrator with deep expertise in leveraging open source software. With this merger, InnovaTech added service offerings that include content management, business process automation, and portal technology, and has expanded into serving private sector commercial clients.
